Fields In Trust

A resource for everyone!
King George’s Field has seen such strong support because we can all see how it will bring the community together. There's no better way to do that than through sports teams and clubs making use of the new facilities. Barford Sports Club exists as the local group supporting the use of the Field.
Barford St Peters School has access to quality sporting facilities, inspiring the local children to get active and involved in sport, in and outside of school. Villagers have the opportunity to form, coach or attend clubs on the new facilities, and book out regular slots via our booking system.

In November 2016 Barford United FC under 11's was formed after a massive effort that involved Coaches, Players, Parents, Barford Sports club and of course the Barford community. We now have a village football team utilising our fantastic KGF and its top notch facilities.
Club coaches Christopher Lee & Mark Edwards (both FA level 2 licensed coaches) are committed to developing their squad of players as a team and also as individuals on and off the pitch, whilst creating a safe and FUN environment for them to hone their skills.
As part of Barford Sports Club we are delighted to be able to offer football and dedicated coaching to local children within our community. Thank you to our generous local sponsors and Barford Community Charity for helping to provide team kit. The team is very proud to wear it!
For any information regarding the football team or to get involved please contact the club via their Facebook page - or use the 'contact us' section at the bottom of this page
If attending any fixtures, please refrain from parking on Church Lane and please use the Barford St Peters School car park located off Church Street, CV35 8EW as this will be opened up for use on match days.
One final thought from a truly inspirational great: "There is no room for criticism on the training field. For a player – and for any human being – there is nothing better than hearing 'well done'. Those are the two best words ever invented in sports. You don't need to use superlatives." - Sir Alex Ferguson
